Corporate America: my discovery of the day

As one credit card company, whose name cannot be mentioned (protecting corporate reputation has now superseded free speech right in this country) advertises that they have no preset limit on their cards, I decided to try their gold card. To my surprise I discovered that their no preset limit simply means that they don’t tell you what your limit is, and the only way to discover it was to have my card turned down. In my case, the personalised limit allocated to me was much lower than of any other card I have.

Don’t you love marketing?
